Anne Spanton graduated from Ealing University and qualified as a lawyer in 1984.

After a short period working for a large construction company, Costain Limited, dealing with contract and employment law, Anne joined Slough based law firm Barrett and Thomson.  During her 10 years’ tenure there she sharpened up her expertise in the areas of land and property law, as well as employment law.

Anne then fulfilled her ambition to apply her legal skills to the commercial world and joined Preussag Fire Protection Limited in 1994. She started as Legal Adviser and Company Secretary for the UK and Irish companies, and also provided assistance to the German parent company in relation to English contract law. Her responsibilities were quickly extended to include health, safety and environmental issues, as well as implementing the necessary procedures, safe systems and training of all employees. This later role included carrying out many site safety inspections. Whilst at Preussag, Anne designed and implemented effective contractual awareness training courses in order to ensure the proficient running of projects in relation to the contractual issues within the company.

Anne Spanton founded Prisma Associates Ltd in August 2000, with the aim of providing high-level advice and training to directors of small, medium and large companies.
