Directors Responsibilities and Liabilities – Manage the Risk and be Successful

  • Course objective:

Contractual Awareness – Avoiding the Pitfalls

Course objective:

Create awareness and understanding of the Contract Documents without the legal jargon.

Who should attend:
Engineers, Contract Engineers, Project Engineers, Project Managers, Senior Managers and Directors.

It also includes a basic understanding of Parent Company Guarantees, Collateral Warranties and Performance Bonds.

Contractual Awareness – Understanding CDM Regulations

Course objective:

Create an understanding of The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 1994, to ensure that your Company is competent under the Regulations and complies with the Requirements

Who should attend:

Engineers, Contracts Engineers, Project Managers, Contracts Managers, Designers, Senior Managers and Directors

Why:
Non compliance with the CDM regulations can spell major losses and incur heavy penalties.

Subjects covered:

This course provides an understanding of the contractual requirements, application and implication of the CDM Regulations – avoiding the potential to incur major losses on CDM projects, managing the exposure of risk of being non-compliant, and the penalties for breach of the Regulations. It also includes dealing with the consequences affecting Parent Company Guarantees, Collateral Warranties and Performance Bonds.
